High Temperature Resistant Centrifugal Pump Installer
Disassembly steps of centrifugal pump

2021/12/11

In the chemical industry, when using stainless steel centrifugal pump, stainless steel alkali pump, stopping pump for maintenance, or cleaning pump repair work, it is necessary to disassemble the centrifugal pump. How to disassemble the centrifugal pump correctly? The editor of Tenglong tells you:

1. Use the pull horse to disassemble the coupling, the specific method is as follows: pull the hook of the horse with a special tool to catch the coupling, and the screw top is in the center of the pump shaft, and slowly turn the wrench to remove the coupling. In the process of pulling, you can use a copper hammer or rod to tap the coupling. Loosen the fastening bolts on the pump cover and pump body and remove the rotor assembly from the pump body.

2. When disassembling the impeller and disassembling the pump impeller, it is necessary to measure the axial movement and radial jump of the rotor, and whether the axial movement and radial jump of the rotor are normal.

3. Then disassemble the back cap of the impeller, remove the impeller, confirm the rotation of the back cap before disassembly, and forbid to damage the back cap by reverse force. when the impeller is pried off with a crowbar, it should be pried at the rib plate of the impeller so as not to pry the impeller, and the back cap of the impeller should be free from bite buckle and slippery wire phenomenon in appearance inspection, otherwise it should be repaired or replaced.

4. Remove the impeller guide flat key again, and the flat key appearance inspection key should have no obvious deformation, defect and other defects, and the cooperation with the keyway should meet the requirements, otherwise it should be repaired or replaced.

5. Remove the pump cover and sleeve and loosen the bearing cover to extract the shaft from the suspension (note that impeller nuts should be worn when hitting the shaft head with a copper rod to prevent thread damage).
